Computer Spec Question

Hey I know this is probably asked a lot but I was wondering if this computer is pretty close to next gen consoles. I would like to play some next gen games without breaking my bank.
i7-4770 processor (8M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600Mhz
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 with 1.5GB GDDR5

yes the next generation ps4 uses a hd7870 alike gpu and xbox one uses hd7790 alike gpu, so your rig is beating the xbox one and is slightly behind the ps4.

yes it is good but you will probably struggle by next due to your gpu.you should either go sli or get 770.
but for now you propably be fine its a good build. Dont worry because the next gen consoles look good on paper but the actual game performance and game graphics the computer is still well ahead.
