Hi everyone!
I've recently undertaken the amazingly enjoyable task of constructing my very first gaming rig, after having been totally out-of-action for a number of years. I have now purchased everything except the GPU (arguably the most important part!) and I was just wondering, based on my setup and budget, what the best options would be. My setup is as follows:
Asus Z87 Pro Motherboard
Intel i5 4670k Processor
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133mhz RAM (2x4gb)
128GB Plextor M5extreme SSD
1TB Western DIgital Caviar Blue HDD
Corsair TX650M PSU
And not that it really matters, but:
Cooler Master HAF XB Case
CM Storm Quickfire Rapid Mechanical Keyboard
Corsair M65 Gaming Mouse
I guess it might be important to note that my screen is a BenQ XL2411T (120hz).
The games I'll be playing will range from CS:GO and the COD series to Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, Trackmania, Tribes Ascend etc. etc.
My budget is around £300 (willing to consider up to £350 if it's REALLY (notice caps and italics) worth it).
As well as actual GPU suggestions, it would be a massive help if you could suggest a brand as well, as I have no idea what the difference is between an EVGA and an Asus card.
