Windows 7 reinstall fail!!

Need urgent help!!

Tried reinstall windows 7 on acer aspire one happy (netbook) and now get black screen with message:
"windows could not complete installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the install".

It then restarts when press ok and have same message over & over. Cannot even start in safe mode.

Did not come with installation cd.

Any ideas welcome!!

Is SATA set to AHCI or IDE in BIOS?

Thank you for quick reply. No idea - how do I find this out? Do I press F2 into menu?

Please bear in mind to shut it down earlier I had to hold power button. Don't want to do this too much incase I burn it out.

Yes, press F2 during boot.
