I am using a windows vista recovery disk that come with my stone computer mr055 because it will no longer load the os, it will boot from cd and start re installing windows starts expanding files and updating then I get bsod memory management error and also had page fault in non paged area had various error codes 0xc0000005, 0x0000007e and 0x00000050. When I run memory diagnostic tool it says there are hardware problems I have reseated the memory what else could it be. Also when it's expanding files from cd to hdd the hdd makes loud clicking noise. Someone please help thanks in advance.

clicking noise is the sound of an HDD going bye bye , or a fan hiting a wire make sure its not a fan hitting a wire before buying a new HDD and backing up ur old one before its completely dead

It's definitely not the fan hitting a wire but what I will say about the fan is that it's intermittent and gets really hot from where CPU is the copper that goes to the fan gets very hot. How can I backup the hdd if I can't boot up the computer?

well when u get the new HDD install a new windows and back the HDD up , as for the heat sink getting too hot go into the bios check in pc health how many RPMS ur fan is doing and what are the temps and let me know

I'm not with my computer at moment but its a very basic bios and don't think it shares that information. Will all my files be lost from the old hdd or is their a way of getting them back?

So you definitely think its the hdd and nothing else, just don't wanna buy new one if turns out to be something else why do you think the fan is intermittent? Does all bios include the temp readings for the CPU?

bios readings for cpu and motherboard and I think its the HDD cuz its the only thing aside from the fan with moving parts xD , to make sure put ur ear on it to make sure the clicking is from the HDD usually the clicking means the needle is out of the magnetic field and is slamin into the HDD side , a HDD media gone bad does that , can be replaced but all the data goes with it

Checked bios and doesn't have any temp readings for cpu sat in front of computer now. Currently expanding files on windows install hdd is creaking and vibrating got to expand files 100% twice before starts installing updates and gives me bsod let's see what happens

ok , any clicking sound? that error means either a bad pagefile or a bad ram , if theres no clicking sound from the HDD great new, now u can test ur rams to see which one is cuzing the BSOD

When I take the ram out of the computer the fan is on constant but screen won't come on is this normal because I took the ram out. Do you think it's the ram that's causing it all with fan working fine

if u have only one ram u cant take it out , the computer wont start without it get memtest on a flash drive and use it to test that ram , its possible that its the reason since the BSOD points to a faulty memory
