I'm currently wanting to build a computer and I was wondering if there's anything I can change to get more bang for my buck. I want to be around 1500$ and is there anything I can change or is it perfect as is?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1spLX This is a bit over your budget, but it's because of the monitor, if you find the monitor to be expensive, it's for a reason, it's a 144Hz monitor, meaning it will display 144 frames per second instead of the classic 60. Much better for fast paced action. The K95 keyboard is pretty much the best out there, it's got 18 programmable buttons over 3 modes for a total of 54. The entire keyboard is LED backlit in blue, and you can customize the backlight of each and every single key to brighten it, turn it on, or off. For example, let's say you just want your main keys lit up. There's a button on the top right hand corner you press and hold, then click on the keys you want lit, and only those will be lit up. It has the best key switches, cherry mx red, mechanical keys, purely made for gaming, you won't double tap or triple tap faster with any other key in the world. It's got a nice black finish, and it has a metal plate making the keyboard a lot tougher and less prone to breaking during those rage moments. This is strictly a hardcore gamer keyboard. As for the mouse, if you could tell me what you want, I can find the best one there is for you.

Oh, I just saw that comment, I guess I wrote that for nothing, that's not exactly a normal keyboard, it's a REALLY good keyboard, has some great features, and pleased many gamers. If you can spend some extra cash in the future, the K70 or K95 will definitely be worth your money.

Thank you for your recommendations. For the mouse I was thinking about the Logitech g400.

That's a really good mouse for the price, you won't be dissapointed, you might want to spend a bit more on a G600 though. A 400 will serve you well too. But if you can, the G600 is just great, I own it, I used to own the G400. I have a Razer Naga as well as a RAT 7, but in some games, the G600 just shines.
