Computer part compatibility check help

I`m building myself a gaming rig and would like to keep it as cheap as possible but still a powerful machine. I was also wondering if these parts are compatible and if I should change anything because of price or just not needing it that powerful/weak:

1. Wrong link for the motherboard.
2. No SSD? Try to get a SSD. It's not that expensive (120/128GB) and it will improve your system exponentially.
3. Why not get the latest Intel socket (1150)?
4. Instead of that PSU, get XFX 550W. Is better, cheaper and more than enough for your system.
5. That thermal paste is not the greatest. Look for Arctic 5 or MX.

Link has been fixed, Intel Socket updated, PSU downgraded to Corsair CX 600 Watt and Thermal Paste is now Arctic Silver V
Thanks a lot, have you got any other suggestions?

Please replace the Corsair with XFX. It's much better XFX and you get 5 year warranty too. And get Arctic i30 cpu cooler. It's much better than 7.

I`d like to keep the setup as cheap as possible so unless you have any ideas for me to cut back, a SSD is probably not going to be included

Does anyone have opinions on the Motherboard, Graphics Card, HDD, Monitor or Optical Drive and how to improve them/make them cheaper but just as good?
