Graphics card causes black screen

I think my video card is defective but I'm not sure. I have already submitted for a replacement with amazon but I would like a second opinion. My GPU randomly causes my screen to go black but the PC is still running. When I run aida64 stability test and MSI Kombustor stress test it starts for about 2 seconds then black screens with the PC still running. I have an i5 4670k, msi z87-gd65 and the video card is the msi R7870-2GD5T and it was running on 3.4/3.8(beta) drivers I tested using both and they both had the same results so I figured it wasn't a software problem. I used the integrated graphics and it stopped.

The 7870 cards had a defect in them that caused the black screen issue. I've read a lot of posts and quite a few people have been experiencing the issue and have RMA'd their cards only to get another defective card. I suggest getting another GPU instead.
