Multi-monitor or 1 Big monitor with a Big resolution?

Hey people,
I just build my computer but I don't figured out wich kind of monitor I should use...
I was asking myself: Should I buy 3 27" monitors each a resolution of 1920x1080 Or one big 30" Screen with a resolution of 2560x1600?

Agree^ I like to stick to one screen but if I am multi tasking or playing a car racing game a multi monitor setup would come in handy. But then again thats my opinion.

Forget to mention that my budget is around $900. And I'm going to use this for music productivity and gaming Etc..

To be honest, with that budget I'd wait a few months and see what ASUS announces the price of their 39" 4k monitor to be. There's a chance it will be around $1000-1500 mark and it would be far superior to anything out right now.

That's a little bit too expensive... My video card is a xfx hd radeon 7950 Black edition. So I guess it doesn't support that big resolution...
