Then I'd go the Platter drive, size will depend on what you do and need - don't really want to go SSD if no platter drive, as the constant writes to the SSD from cache, temp, page file etc will deteriorate the drive faster and shorten it's life

Ill be using it for gaming this is my first build so im not too sure about everything
With a budget then stick with a platter drive and start putting some away for a SSD, no big rush, when you do get one, you'll be extremely pleased with it
