As I already suggested, best bet is 2 770s. If that's out of your price range, under that comes the 760, which is pretty much a refresh of the 670. The 7970 compares more to a 770 than a 670. So, out of those cards listed, 7970 with a nice cooler and factory OC wins, but when crossfired, you might encounter some problems, and especially on triple monitors, micro stuttering, triple monitor builds are builds that require quite a large amount of money, I was going for a triple monitor setup myself, but a 780 wasn't enough, I needed a second one.

Rule out Crossfire entirely on a multiple monitor system. While the Crossfire frame pacing problem was partially fixed for single monitors, it absolutely was NOT fixed for multiple monitors. What does that mean? On multiple monitors, a pair of 7970's will perform no better than a single 7970, i.e. that extra card would be a waste of money.

Meanwhile, here's what Guru3D has to say about SLI (quote):
"But fair enough, over time NVIDIA has done a great job, micro-stuttering is a thing of the past and there are hardly any driver issues. And with triple A game titles, NVIDIA will have a driver for you at launch day ensuring your multi-GPU solution is supported."
