So I was checking out this thread, and some guy mentions out that he need the exact motherboard the requester is getting, so he does that and from that they keep discussing the thread...

Now the thing is that I'm getting that same APU but with different specs, my specs are:

- (of course) AMD A8-6600k
- MSI FM2-A55M-E33 (MoBo)
- WD 500 GB Internal Hard Drive 3.5''
- AeroCool Case Vs-2
- 430 Corsair Bronze 80 Plus
- DVD

RAM... This is where I'm stuck, so far I have seen RAM that specifies that they are compatible with blah, blah, blah, Intel 1150 whatever socket, Phenom whatever, And I haven't seen specifically for the AMD A8-6600k so I came here seeking for help to see if you guys could shed light on me.

Since I'm building on a budget the mobo is: MOBO maybe sometime in the future I get something better, but for now I'm starting this out fresh, comes to mention that this will be my first EVER build!!! SO I'm pretty darn excited as you can imagine :D

More about : ram compatible amd 6600k apu

If you are planning on using the on-die GPU for your graphics, you are better off with 1866MHZ memory because the GPU uses system memory. Any good quality DDR3 will work. It doesn't have to say APU or A8 or anything like that. You can also get some more information on that MB here: http://us.msi.com/product/mb/FM2-A55M-E33.html

Ok so far I'm focusing in getting this one; Looks legit?

Also found: This one but they look like generics RAM with funny brand names :> are they a "so-so" ?

Get the G.SKILL. Its A more reliable brand and because the Team Vulcan has no reviews so you know anything about it.

Again, if you are planning on using the on-die GPU instead of a discrete graphics card... choose 1886MHZ over the 1600MHZ.
And yes, the G. Skill is the better of the memory.

Alright pal, Thanks for the recommendation, I will be planning to get a discrete GPU but that will be in a future ahead, but not currently looking for it tho, now as long as games doesn't demand that much, I will be just good with this current setup :D

It's up to you, but your APU's on-die GPU will not work at its maximum speed with 1600MHZ system memory.

Don't torture me anymore XD I'm on a very strict budget about $50+ / $66- to get that RAM XD and not to mention I still have to get the HDD so... Yeah pretty much a very tight budget. I mean I could get this one if I wanted, but I'm short of those 3 darn smackers :D

Ohh, Btw I can always O.C. Or... not?

Haven't you ever bought anything from Newegg before? Registered buyers get the promo codes in their email.
