is the corsair h100i a good water cooler for over clocking.?

If you want to go liquid, yes.....unless planning a big OC the Hyper 212 EVO is good for most, or take a look at the new Cooler Master V8 GTS, just got one and it appears great so far

For overclocking, yes it would be great.

4670k can manage 4.2ghz to 4.4ghz only too.


I wouldn't trust the hyper evo 212 for overclocking on haswell processors though. Stock it should be fine though.

An h80i would perform well too, and a bit cheaper.

Either get an h80i/h100i then set your 4670k for 1.2v, and lower it as much as you can, stop and revert to the last stable voltage.
