I tend to play a lot of single-player games. Thus far, I haven't had trouble running anything on Ultra settings with the exception of Sleeping Dogs. - Going forward, my gaming backlog is pretty full with older titles, but considering the new BF4 for multiplayer, I'm curious if you would make any upgrades now, or wait it out and do a full build in another year.
Current specs:
Intel i7 2600k SB - OC'ed to 4.0ghz/1.232v with Hyper 212+
EVGA 2gb 560ti - OC'ed to 975/2150/1.1v
Geil 16gb RAM - 1600, not OC'ed
Seagate 650w PSU
MSI P67A-GD65(B) MOBO
Sandisk Extreme 120gb SSD
I did this build back in 2011 and with the exception of a couple RMA's in the beginning, it has been going strong.
When I play BF3, I'm currently getting an average of 50fps in multiplayer. Sometimes it maxes at 60 (vsync) and other times I drop to 42-45fps.
I'm not concerned about putting cash into the PC, but ideally I'd like to wait it out a little longer just to future-proof at a good price. - With that said, are there any changes you would make to the system right now?
