Suggestions for buying my friend Cpu build

Hello,

I'm not good with Cpu specs, I'm a 3D artist who do Architectural Renderings in 3ds max. I also use photoshop zbrush and autocad.
my friend is selling his Build Cpu to me. Do you think it's worthed if I buy this build now a days? He is selling it to me at $1180 USD

Some of the specs aren't really that detailed.

Here are the specs.

Motherboard - asus maximus gene iv
Intel i7 2600k OC to 4.95
Patriot viper ii sector 5 ddr3 2x2gb 1800mhz OC to 2000+mhz
Silverstone case
Silverstone 1000w gold 80+
Cpu cooler v6
Ssd 128gb sandisk extreme
Asus gtx 570 directcu ii
a lot of fans

Tough call considering the components. You could probably build a new rig for same price, though. It will need more ram. I wouldn't want under 8gb for what you want it for.

Son is the price of his rig $1180 reasonable? Considering that it's gonna be second handed to me and was bought a year ago.

The Rig is still in very good condition.

or should I just go to stores and build a new rig?
