I'm building a PC and need to know if this is good one.

PURPOSE: Surfing, HD video, mild gaming (Minecraft, Sims 3, Wizard 101, etc.)
COMPONENTS:
CPU: AMD Athlon ii x2 270.
Motherboard:Foxconn A76ML-K 3.0 AM3 AMD 760G Micro ATX.
RAM:Corsair 8GB (two 4GB sticks.).
Graphics: GIGABYTE Radeon HD 6670 2GB RAM.
DVD burner.
Case: Thermaltake V3 black version.
HDD: HGST 500GB 7200 RPM.
PSU:Enermax 350 watt.

I am on a tight budget( I'm cheap.) but able to squeeze some more money in if I have to. I just want to know if this is a good build for it's purpose and if everything is balanced in performance and I will also accept opinion's.Thanks.

A bit hard to recommend a CPU such as that, almost better off with a cheap i3 laptop or store bought desktop. What is your budget and max budget if you pushed it?

It is pretty bad considering you can have a better build for the money. I will assume your budget is around $500

The HD4000 in the Gateway rig is underpowered and it has upgrade path issues.

Agreed on the Gateway rig. But you do get an interesting collection of high and low quality parts with some of the OEMs.

I rather like the Athlon X4 750k build.
