All programs goes to "not responding" cant format my pc

2 weeks ago, my pc started acting out, everything would go to not responding. so i formatted my pc and reinstalled everything. same issue again.
I formatted my pc again using the original drivers and installations cds for my motherboard.
I installed every windows update and then installed my usual games LoL and WoW. It ran smooth for a couple of days, then one night after installing windows updates it couldn't start windows. It said that a recent change of software or hardware was stopping windows from starting. So i tried to format it again. I boot from the CD and choose my language and press install and then it just doesnt get any further.

My specs:
intel i5 3.4GHz
radeon hd 7850
8132 ddr3 ram
as rock z77 pro4 motherboard
1 TB HDD
corsair cx600 power supply

I have no idea what's wrong, I'm far from a computer genius, please help!

get memtest and run it. so you can rule out your ram.
