Lower FPS after reseat/mobo reset?

Had to clear mobo CMOS, and reseated GPU (because couldn't reach mobo battery). Now Heaven 4 benchmark has dropped from 44.4FPS (tested with same result 20+ times) to 42.9FPS. I know it's nothing major, but I am confused as to why a GPU reseat/clearing CMOS would result in this. Has anyone else had this? Are there power management settings in the BIOS, that maybe are enabled now after a reset (have checked all settings)? Thanks.

Just in case anyone reads this with the same problem, my solution was to down-clock my CPU from 4.7 to 4.4Ghz.
