Please help me oc my setup.

Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H, 1.0, F7 bios
Intel i5 4670k with a Noctua NH-D14 HS
G-Skill 1600mhz 8,8,8,24 1.5v 2*4gb RAM
Gigabyte 550GTX Ti OC 1gb
OCZ SSD

I set my memory timings according to my specs 8,8,8,24 but I noticed in cpu-z that my Dram frequency is 800mhz even though I set it to 1600mhz in bios?

I just upgraded from a Asus P5B-Deluxe, which oc'd great but the options on the Gigabyte are extensive.

Looking for someone who has the same board and a haswell i5k/i7k to help me with some settings.

I'd like to get a 4.5-4.7 OC and I read that the "costa rica" chips can get 5ghz on air. I have the "costa rica" chip.

I'm sure there's a lot more to it than what I've done. Articles are vague or not combining the board/cpu I have together.

Thanks in advance

DRAM is fine it's DDR (Double data rate) fo take freq 800x2 to get effective of 1600, , try 44 at 1.25 initially and then bring voltage down slowly while maintaining stability - as far as the 'Costa Rica" chip, doesn't really matter where they are made there are always some good ones and some bad ones and occasionally some great ones
