So I'm building my first gaming pc, and I'm trying to keep the budget as low as possible whilst maintaining good performance. if you have any feed back on the builds (AMD & Intel try to be impartial) how to save a bit of money or a better component at the same price please say. my budget £500 - £600 as I will also need to get monitor/key board etc.

The builds are

Cpu: Intel i5 3350p or AMD FX 6300
Mobo: AsRock z77 pro 3 or Gigabyte GA970A D3
GPU: HD 7870 (saving money as the games I want are in the never settle)
RAM: Mushkin essential 8gb or patriot Viper 8gb
PSU: Corsair CX430 non modular version
Case: either xigmatec Asgard pro or coolermaster elite 335 upgraded
Memory: 1tb Seagate hdd
wirless network: TP-Link TL-WN822N 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0
And windows 8 OS

totals are £605. for intel and £550 for amd

thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

I would go for the AMD build. Here's one I made for a budget build, and it has a better GPU than yours. Total is £606.62.
