After putting my build together for a few weeks this is what my friends, you all, and I have come up with. I hope this will pass everyone's test :)

If you don't mind leave a rating from 1-10 on how you think this will perform with todays games. 10 being the best.

I like most of it. I think the 16GB of RAM is a bit excessive and would recommend 8GB. I saw a deal on an 850W Seasonic modular power supply for $70USD yesterday. I think RAIDMAX is considered medicore quality. I could be wrong. However, for that build you really don't need more than 650W.

Other than that your build is almost identical to my current build. I'm using a 7950 factory overclocked 3GB video card. I also built my system 7 months ago for $1000 USD.

Edit: Cases are always a matter of personal taste, but I had a full tower once. I'll never have a full tower again. Way too big and heavy.

I would get 2 sticks of ram if you want 16gb (2x8) but 8 should be plenty for gaming (2x4). That way if you need to upgrade in the future you will have 2 slots to add to and won't have to remove any.

I voted yes, but didn't notice tha 16gb ram, which is indeed overkill, let alone for a moderate system. This build should easily deliver al games on high settings, so 9/10.
