Will amd fx 4100 oc 4ghz + Gigabyte ultra Durable 4 MOBO work well with MSI GTX 660 OR 660 TI?

I'm thinking of upgrading gpu to the gtx 660 or ti for battlefield 4 and I was wondering if this combo will work well or not. Will the gtx 660 be bottlenecked?

  1. No should be good to go, the 660 are good cards, and your 4100 should be fine
  2. You'll probably be a slight bottlenecked by that CPU, but not enough to care (I'm badly bottlenecked with a 7970 and FX-6100 but I can still play most anything)
  3. no, the cpu is too slow, it would get bogged down in BF3, so expect bf4 to be even more demanding. get at least an intel i5 3xxx or 4xxx or amd fx 6300 or better. even any of the intel i3 3xxx series would be significantly faster than a fx4100. a gtx660 should be fine at medium detail settings.
  4. I can't afford a new cpu and my aim is to upgrade my gpu just so it can run bf4 on medium on at least 60 fps whilst recording, should I get a gtx 660 or should I go for the amd equivalent?

well you couldnt run bf3 with 60fps minimum while recording, so certainly no for bf4. If your recording go with nvidia for their shadowplay recording tech.
  6. I just ordered the gtx 660 http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-msi-gtx-660-twin-frozr-iii-oc-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-1033mhz-boost-1098mhz-cores-9

Hope is works out great, I'm going for nvidia cards as that they offer shadowplay
  7. Think you'll be happy with it, I prefer nVidia also
