NAS dead, how to get the data from HDD

My Synology NAS server went dead. I had two SATA HDDs with RAID1 configuration inside it. I'm hoping that the data is intact. Now, my question is how can I access the data from the drives? I already bought a new server (D-Link), but it will format the disks as part of installation. Any ideas how to preserve the data?

The file system could be a Linux FS.
