My first Build but need help on PSU!!

I haven't buy all the components yet. I got trouble in choosing the Power supply, becasue I'm not sure what watt to get. So i need help on that to make sure that it will work on my rig. I want my PSU in fully modular and in Platinum. I like my psu to last long , and enough watt for me to upgrade in the future. I've heard about Corsair, they have many good reviews. So what's your opinion ?


This is my build.

Case : Corsair C70

MOBO : Asus Maximus IV Formula

CPU : Intel Core i7 4770K 4thgene

RAM : Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866

GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX 780 863MHZ 3GB GDDR5 384BIT

SSD : Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5in SATA3

HDD : Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

Cooling : Hydro series H110

OS : Windows 8 64bit

Seasonic 760XP2 would fit perfectly or, if your budget is a bit smaller, the Corsair AX760.

Yes. If you plan to add a second gpu, tons of hdd's, while loading usb devices on the system, you could look a bit higher. But for the specs you gave, it has a good margin for optimal efficiency.

I think I will go with 860watt. Incase in future I will add second GPU and etc. Thanks for your help
