I agree. No one is excited about a 27" WQHD monitor anymore. Either make it smaller or 120 Hz.

Monoprice has these IPS with the LG screen for less than $500 , I think people are more interested in real 120hz wich is not the same as 120hz or 240hz for a HDTV , its worlds different . People that have never seen 120hz need to ,

Amen. 24" 1440p should have became standard already but we're still stuck on 1080p. There are plenty of professional displays for graphics designers but the lower end 1440p monitors for consumers still needs to be saturated.

Truly Disappointing from Samsung.......No Innovation added to its predecessor the SB970 and the price is exactly the same as it was on the 970 3 years ago.....Why even bother updating? As far as I see, these big companies are only interested in innovating the smartphone, tablet and phablet market......PC has been pretty stagnant since the last 3 yrs.......If they would get these monitors in the stream of 500$, it could go mainstream and these companies could sell 10 of 1000s of pieces instead of 50-100 of them......the previous model sold about 50 pieces on newegg and about another 20 of em on Amazon........Every pc user wants to have a 2560x1440 if the price is reduced considerably.....but at this rate, this "piece of art" is not going to sell..........

I've been dreaming of something like a 120Hz 27" or 30" WQHD monitor for years. Doesn't have to be IPS or PLS or any of that. Just give me the WQHD resolution on a fast TFT monitor. This should reduce the cost as well since the panel is cheaper to produce.

Id really like to see more ultrathin bezel monitors on the market personally. I just cant go multimonitor while staring at 1" wide separators between the left right and center parts of my view of the action. Makes me feel like Im piloting a mech through skyrim ... just doesnt work.

This is pointless to begin with, I am looking for 24 inch 4k OLED transparent flexible displays that I can roll up and put in a tube with 10 finger multi touch and wireless to computer transmission of data.

That's what I'm talking about.
