hey all, just had a quick question.
i just made a pc with the following parts:
i7 4770k @4.5ghz
Gigabyte Z87x-ud5H Mobo
G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB @2133mhz
Samsung 840 Pro 120gb SSD
320gb Hitachi HDD
Sapphire HD 7970 Dual X 3GB
Diablotek 550w PSU
Corsair H110 watercooler
right now im gaming on my 1080p hdtv but im planning to upgrade my display. for gaming, i will only be using a single 27" 1400p monitor, or a 24" 1080p monitor @144hz (by asus)
the gigabyte z87x ud5h motherboard specs say it can do 2 way sli/crossfire
so my question is, can I add a HD 7990 to my setup? (i know i have to get a better psu)
i was just confused since with a hd 7990 and a hd 7970 you would have 3 way crossfire, but the mobo specs say it's only compatible with 2 way crossfire/sli.
can i add a 7990 to my motherboard?
