I cannot decide on cpu cooler, i currently use a 4670k with vengence pro (yes i checked the clearence and its fine)

But cannot what will be best i have the fractal design define r4

I use an h100i with the 4670k, it works very well. Personally I don't see a reason to get a NH-D14 for these reasons unless your tight on money. -Large, Ugly, Weight On the Socket(not good if you move case around sometimes).

They are going to perform similar, but it's up to you if you wanna spend the extra few dollars for a few minor benefits.

the difference is 5 degrees or less i believe. with air you have no risk of the cooler leaking on your components. with the h100i its a little bit easier to quickly get the heat out of your case. and if you have an r4 you must be into having a quiet pc and the nh d14 is quieter than the h100i. the h100i ramps up pretty loud.

But sp120's are also an option.

it comes with sp120's, no? the thing is is those fans ramp up to 2500rpm and the nh d14 goes up 10 1500 rmp for around the same performance. that says a lot in my opinion. all this being said i have an h80i but the noctua is a really good cooler.

You can set the h100i to quiet mode, the temperatures only raise a couple degrees at worst, if your gaming you will want to set it to back to performance mode though, or just set it to go into performance over 45C.

Basically a built in fan controller that works very well, so it will be quiet unless your gaming, and even then you will have loud audio.
