Would a gtx760 work or would a 770 do the job. I dont really know anything about AMD so if someone could fill me in with the AMD opposites of the 770 and 760 and how they match up, and if they can game on multiple monitors at 2560x1440?

Cheers

Counterpart for GTX 770 would be Radeon HD 7970 and the for the 760 the HD 7950. Both cases being the GTX is a little better but costs more too. Radeon can work with multiple monitors because of the eyefinity display or something.

Radeon HD 7970, GTX 770

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn770oc2gd - a tad bit more expenseive than normal 770s, but my favorite because of 3 fans

Radeon HD 7950, GTX 760

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn760oc2gdrev20 - again a little more, but better cooling system

Hope this helped :).

If your going in for 3 monitors I suggest crossfire HD 7970 Ghz edition if you want smooth gameplay with almost any game in max. You should also need a motherboard and processor that has PCI-e 3.0 bus controller and a high-end CPU example would be a 3970x.
