CPU Temp Stuck @12degree

I have AMD phenom II x6 1055T, on gigabyte 880G Mobo.it was all fine, showing temps in desktop gadgets, and in AMD overdrive, but few days back tried to upgrade the bios to latest(downloaded it from gigabyte site). since then core temps are not showing either in desktop gadgets or in overdrive, its stuck @ 12 degree.Think this may be becoz of the BIOS upgradation?Is this so?

Well if everything was working fine before the upgrade, i think it is your BIOS upgrade causing the problem
