Hi this is my first pc build and this is what i got
Coolermaster haf 912
Asus m5a97 r2.0 mobo
Amd fx 6300 cpu
Kingston hyperx 8gb ram
Gigabyte gtx 650ti boost oc 2gb
Corsair 500w
Wd 1tb hhd
Coolermaster hyper 212 evo
200mm and 120mm coolermaster blue fans

I did a bit of research on heating/airflow and i think ill go with a bit more negayive pressured fan setup but i have no idea which fan should go where
Iam thinking of
Top and rear : one 120mm stock fan each
Front ; 200mm fan(rpm reduced for negative air)
Side:120mm fan

Or placing the side fan to the front

Or front : 200mm
Rear: 120mm stock fan
Top : 120mm non stock fan
Like this without one stock fan

I heard that adding a side fan may cause disrupt the overal airflow inside a pc
Is that also true for this particular case?

I also heard that installing the side fan may be contingent on the video card fan that if the video card fan is an intake the side fan should also be an intake, if exhaust fan, vice versa.

Also some said that this motherboard's vram heats up a lot so there should be a side fan
Or should i just get vram heatsink

So is the side fsn necessary due to overall airflow, vram and the video card?

Should the cpu heatsink be placed horinzontally or vertical for best airflow i saw some video with the same heat sink and case where the heat sink was vertical but was only 1cm to 2cm away from top fan
Or should it be vertical for air from the video card (if it has an exhaust fan)could escape via the rear fan.

Thanks

This build uses a better case which comes with 3 fans and a window and can expand to five fans for a great price! Also the graphic card I picked is cheaper and better. Regarding the CPU heatsink, for the 212 Evo there's only one way you can place it...so don't know what you mean by vertical/horizontal :p .

My Current System:
CPU: Phenom II x6 1065T w/Cooler Master Hyper TX3 with 2 fans
RAM:16GB 1333 G.Skill RipJaws
GPU:XFX Radeon R7850 Ultra OC Edition 1GB w/ARCTIC Accelero TT II VGA Cooler
MOBO:MSI NF750-G55
PSU:Cool Power Gamer Pro CP-GP775 775W
CASE:Antec 300 3x120mm intake fans 2 on front one on door over gpu, 1x120mm exhaust back, 1x140mm exhaust top

So use the top and back as exhaust, and door fan for intake gpu cooling, and the front for hdd bay intake cooling. This will help follow the more natural effects and flow of hot air in your case.
