A Computer to Stand the Test of Time?

So, I've decided I wanted to invest in a very powerful Desktop computer to game on, but I have around 1.1k to invest into the computer and I want to make sure it lasts as long as possible. I might not exactly skilled when it comes to computer Hardware so I have been using CyberPowerPc to customize a computer and this is what I came up with:

Now, my question to you is, if I wanted to upgrade that computer by say adding in another 660, would I be able to do that? As well as would this computer stand up to the test of time for a decent peroid of time?

I really would custom build a PC, and up the budget a tiny bit, it is not as hard as you think.
