Which is more important? GB VS RAM

When dealing with memory on a laptop or pc, what's more important? The number of GB or the size of RAM?

The number of Gigabytes is the size of the DRAM, you're prob thinking the frequency or the amount of GB, in that case most laptops(newer) either run 1333 or 1600 DRAMm best to look for a minimum of 6GB and 8GB is better, and 1600 would be preferred

Generally yes, many these days are sold at about half the DRAM capacity, check your laptops specs
