i have the e525 and its also stuck on the page saying PXE-E63: ERROR WHILE INITIALIZING THE NIC.
Then it says No bootable device--insert boot disk and press enter.
I have no bootable disk so what can I do??
Right before this happened I was using my laptop via my Wi-Fi on this phone.
Then the laptop hung up. Tried to restart but got the message above.
I have Windows 7.
Oh and above that message it says- For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v1.0.0.5 (01/22/09.
Can anyone help me without me hhaving to buy a whole new laptop???

I also tried pressing the f12 key once the "E" logo became visible , but to no avail..

PLEASE HELP ME.
PLEASE

Hi,

Please boot into your BIOS and check the boot order of devices. You should probably start with your Hard Drive as the primary boot device, and disable all other boot devices. Save the settings and then restart.

Kind Regards,

Hello,

You will need to determine the correct key to press as the laptop boots up. I cannot tell you the key to press off the top of my head, as it varies from computer to computer. Try Googling for an answer, and if that fails you may find the following manufacturers links useful -

Good luck,
