I currently have a Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 and a 450W psu. I'm planning on purchasing a Nvidia Geforce 670. I'm not planning on doing any gaming my purpose is to use them for multi monitors so my question is whether I need a bigger power supply?

My pc has the following specs:

- asrock h87m motherboard
- ssd
- hdd
- blu ray drive
- intel i7 4770

I do not know why do you want two video cards. Get GTX 770/780 or 7970.
Your mobo do not support SLI. Sure two video cards will work on your mobo but there is not much benefit.

With two video cards you need 750 or 850 w PSU. One 7970 is working with 450w good psu. And it will run 3 1080p monitors easy.
GTX 760 is working with four monitors so.. If you do not play then that is maybe best buy. Or 7870 / 7950.

I have a question for you if you are intending on gaming what are you intending to do? Furthermore, it makes little difference whether you are gaming in terms of power requirements you will still need the same amount of power regardless. You said you were doing multiple monitors how many screens were you wanting to display?
