hello , i have a problem.when i want to start my computer , it wont boot and there is a black screen and no bip . i have a asus a8m2n-la (i am french) this computer is a hp.

Hi, Remove the memory, graphics card, other components and start with only CPU and CPU fan installed. If there's an internal case speaker connected, you should get 1 long 2 short beeps.
Check if the CPU fan does spin when starting the board.

this solution does not work and the pc does not beep, it remains as with the fan running at maximum.does this motherboard is dead?

ps: I tested the cpu on another mother board and it works normally.

Try replacing the CMOS battery with a new one (see the other post). If still the same, it might be a motherboard issue.

the cmos battery and the power supply work perfectly (tested on other mother board and I changed the battery 3 days ago). Again, it is a mere asus A8M2N it from an HP Pavilion Media Center t3000 and the card starts from time to time (often after a night of rest) but at the restart, it gets stuck and you have to wait a few hours before the rallumer.Je do not know what to do and I want to repair (inexpensively) this motherboard.
