Not getting video, not sure which part is the culprit.

Hello, first time builder here, so I am very new to this so bare with me. After putting all the parts together, I started the system up, but I'm not getting any video. I'm attempting to run the video via HDMI

All the fans are running, but I'm guessing one of the parts arrived dead, problem is I have no way of knowing which part.

Are there any tests I can do? What should I be looking for from each component? I don't really have the means to test these on another system right now.

A few things (Not sure if this will be helpful):
-I can feel the CPU warming up while its running
-CPU, GPU fans running
-I plugged in an external HDD to one of the USB ports on the MOBO and the HDD powers up fine.
-I performed the paperclip test on the PSU, no problems
-internal Harddrive seems to power up fine.

I have not been able to test VGA yet, I'm at work, but I'm going stop and get a VGA cable before heading home. And yes the HDMI cable was connected to the GPU, tested the other PCI ports on the motherboard as well.
