Hello all. I want to upgrade my eyefinity setup to 120/144 Hz monitors. I haven't purchased monitors yet because I'm confused on what cables and adapters I will need to make it work on the higher refresh rates of 120/144 Hz monitors. I'm looking at either the Asus VG248QE or the BenQ XL2420T. I haven't pulled the trigger on the monitors yet as I would like a definite answer on what I will need to run these monitors with the higher refresh rates. I have a single Msi 7970 reference design. I believe it has 2 mini dsp, 1 hdmi and 2 dvi output. I belive only the Asus has display port inputs. Would the Asus be a better choice due to it's display port inputs? Thanks for any help.

So would I hook two monitors up with the display port
And one through the dvi? Will iI want to avoid using
The hdmi? I think the display port on the card are minidisplay ports. Will iI need adapters the will change them to full size display ports? Sorry for the uneducated questions. I just can't seem to wrap my head around this. Lol. I've been reading up some on it and it's just confusing me more. I've read that certain cables must be used to for the higher refresh rates.

This is what in trying to avoid. Everyone says just hook it up that way. The card only has 1 dvi out. 2 mini display ports and an hdmi. Read somewhere that when both min display ports are being used that the dvi port is not functional.
