Hi,
Just wondering if there will be any benefit to installing a 2nd GPU. Specifically for PHYSX.

I am running an i7 3770 - 8gb 1600mhz DDR3 RAM - HD7970.

More about : add 2nd gpu physx

if you are playing a lot of games with psyhx, then maybe a low end,
but dont forget you have an Radeon card, and psyhx is from Nvidia.
so if you want, then you have to buy another GPU too.
but it doesn't matter because a Psyhx GPU is just a little bit extra beauty that most people don't need.

Well as far as i'm concerned there's no need for it as one GPU well run PHYSX fine (which i'm assuming you mean Nvidia) and the second GPU wouldn't increase your FPS by a longshot.

Thanks- I don't want to sell the 7970- not yet anyway... I just got it.

I was just reading up on PHYSX and hybrid drivers don't sound fun. I was just wondering if there are benefits to having a dedicated physx card.

Not really, most of the Nvidia cards should work with Physx.

There are not really any benefits to Physx. I mean it looks good, but when you're playing the game you kind of forget about it.
