On the bottom of your motherboard when you boot your computer what does it output to you? Your motherboard has a post led which will tell you what is going on with your computer through the post process.

Make sure you have everything connected 8 pin power 12v power connection at the top, 24 Pin power connection on the side and that your front panel connectors are correct. Although you could also use the bottom on the bottom left to turn on your computer as well.

Use the 4x4 12v ATX/EPS connector use all 8 not just 4. It should be labeled. Very bottom at the middle.

Check off list:

1.) 8 Pin ATX/EPS connections
2.) 24 Pin
3.) Memory inserted (may want to try one dimm to see if perhaps memory is stopping you)
4.) Correct Front Panel connections (IF you don't have these connected you will not get your computer to post) Your motherboard supplies a on button that you can use instead for testing purposes.
5.) You used standoffs and you didn't directly screw in your board against your case tray.
6.) You installed a CPU fan with thermal paste and plugged in the fan into 3/4pin fan outlet.

If the motherboard is indeed defective then they will replace it within the limits they provide (I think 30 days) or else the manufacturer's warranty will cover it so long as there is no definitive evidence that the item was damaged due to user activity. Unfortunately, though, it looks like you'll have to eat the cost of the CPU.
