I found a monitor that I like and I wanted to know whether it supports Nvidia 3D vision 2. I don't know whether there are requirements but just wanted to check. Obviously I will need to buy the 3D vision 2 glasses and emitter separate.
Please tell me if I will need anything to get it all working.
Yes, it will have to specifically list that it supports 3d. Not all 120hz TV's/Monitors support 3d, but as far as I know, Active 3d basically requires 120hz because it is using refreshing half the screen for each picture, so you are still receiving 60hz at each eye. Some still complain about flicker in 120hz TV's so they began offering 240hz 3d TV's which reduce the flicker even more, because each eye can be refreshed twice a second. So if your TV had active 3d and was only 60hz, you'd be receiving a maximum of 30 refreshes per second at each eye, which would look fairly choppy.
