This is my first build ever, just building something solid for gaming with a $1400 price range, and I was looking for some feedback. I need to know if all the parts I'm planning to buy will be compatible, and if they will fit into the case. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

if you want to cutback on cost change that 250GB SSD for a 120GB SSD.

It should, it's essentially the same parts, just a newer generation.

I agree with ps3hacker, go for Haswell i5, the price is about the same, and you will see a slight performance benefit. Pretty much the only difference between the i5 and the i7 is Hyper Threading, which will provide 0 benefit in gaming, so just save yourself $100. Also, I own the Z77 Sabertooth, and I kind of regret buying it, thermal radar is kind of nice, and gives you some nice fan controls and things like that, but overall, there is no reason to buy that expensive of a board. Ps3hacker's mobo pick is a good one, you won't be disappointed. My only other suggestion would be to go for the Samsung 840 EVO or Pro SSD, they both offer much better performance in day to day use, and the EVO isn't even that much more expensive, I think only about $20 more right now. If I was picking an SSD for a boot drive right now it would probably be the 840 Pro 120GB, pretty much the best SSD available. I'm also a sucker for modular PSU, just makes for so much cleaner and easier of a build, but it really doesn't matter that much.

What about the five fans built into the Blackhawk case, would I be able to power them all with the MSI Z87?
