Before anyone can decide anything you need to give us a more in dept overview of your situation. How old is your computer? What game is it? What do you mean by shut down? Like did the tab get X-ed out of or did the whole computer shut down? Or do you mean like compleatly crashed?

I too have the same problem. I am playing Ghost Whisperer. The game loads ok and after performing a few puzzles the game closes without any notice. I am running windows 8 and apparently the game is only designed for windows 7 and prior.
