My friend wants to upgrade him PC so I found what would be the best for him. I'm pretty sure it's all compatible, but it would be good if I got some reassurance. Here are the parts that will be upgraded: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/domdomrys/saved/2i58
And here is the current setup: http://www63.zippyshare.com/v/7341411/file.html (please ignore the fact that some of it is in Polish ;)  ).

Any help is appreciated!

Hi domdomrys,

The CPU and motherboard are compatible due to the fact that the CPU socket is AM3+ and the board has the same socket. However, that is a cheap mobo and can't handle DDR3 1600Mhz RAM (only 1066 and 1333). So, I would recomend you to get a better mobo or, if you are in a low budget, downgrade the memory. These are the options:

MOBO: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-970e...
RAM: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmv8gx3m...

Altough you have two options, I would reccomend you to upgrade the MOBO, as the RAM you picked is good.
If you have chosen those parts, probably you don't want to spend a lot, so I guess you will not be running some RAM intensive programs. So, I think you would not even notice the difference between 1600 and 1333. :)
Hope I helped,
