does my server need multiple drives if i'm running a nas

I work for a small business with seven computer running a lot of data we have a NAS system that was bought before I came on board. My boss wants to use this equipment. I want to run a sever to centralize everything. What options do I have and do I need multiple drives and raid if I'm using this system?

Raid is not needed for Servers, I would recommend 1 2TB Hard Drive though, heres one thats cheap and good:

If your running alot of data through the HDD and can't get alot of SSD's I recommend to get 2 of these:

EDIT: Those drives are almost as fast as an SSD.
