Is my CPU running too hot?

Hi, hopefully a simple question.
I have an i5-3337U CPU with a Nvidia GT 740m (1GB) Graphics card and when i am running a game like Borderlands 2 or Tomb Raider, my CPU runs consistently at maximum dual core Turbo Boost (2.5GHz) under a roughly 50%-60% load. Now, according to the temperature monitor i downloaded, my CPU under these conditions runs between 50 and 62 degrees celsius, which seems hot to me. So i just would like to know if this is normal and if it can cause any damage to the CPU or other components if kept like this for long periods of time (2-3 hours)

  1. The i5-3337U has a TJ Max of 105C so you should be fine with temps below 85C - the use of a cooling pad while gaming may be helpful.
