Will a original Xbox 360 controller play on an new Xbox 360 E. that the new arcade 4GB console? Just wondering mine won't syn

It should, I almost thought you were asking about working on the Xbox 1 I was like hell no! The entire system was built from scratch. But an Xbox 360 controller is an Xbox 360 controller.

It should sync cause i do it with an Elite controller to a Slim all the time

I am having the same issue...none of my older white controllers save one will sync with the Xbox 360 E (and that one is not functioning correctly like both sticks are being pushed up continually). I have 4 Xbox 360's (Black Elite Original, White Original, Slim and E) so I have lots of controllers. The white controllers work with my slim as we have used them there but it seems that something has changed on the Xbox 360 E. Searching doesn't find much on the subject as of yet. Any help out there?
