Hi all,
I am getting a system built primarily for gaming (along with some photo editing) and a budget of $2000-$2500 AU without the keyboard, mouse, headset or screen. It is primarily for FPS and will be operating at 1080p or higher screen resolution with settings on ultra in single screen configuration. I know its impossible but i want to future proof the system a little so i can upgrade sensibly and hopefully not a for a little while. This is the system i have put together but i have limited technical it knowledge and keen to know any other opinions.
CPU: intel i7 4770k 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z87x OC
GPU: Geforce GTX770 2GB
RAM: 2x8gb of single stick 1600MHz
SSD: Samsung 256gb 840 pro
Storage Drive: WD 2TB hard drive
Cooling: Corsair hydro H60-SE CPU cooler
Power Supply: Casecom 800W PSU
OS: Microsoft window 7 home premium
Case: Corsair 600T case
Any thoughts would be fantastic. Also, i specifically want to know if its worth getting the Corsair 16GB Vengeance 1866Mhz Quad Channel DDR3 instead. I have been debating the GTX780 but the performance per dollar doesn't match the GTX770. I think i would have to increase the power supply with the GTX780 as well. Please let me know anything you think of.
Thanks in advance.
