Cheap 1080p Monitor

Alright, I'll probably be buying a graphics card soon. But, my current monitor is an older 1440x900 19" Dell LCD monitor. It works great, but a 1080p monitor would be nice. I need to decide between getting a better graphics card or a weaker one and a bigger display?

A nice monitor will last you much longer than a graphics card.
I would look for a 22-24" ips 1080P monitor.
It will have a better panel with a 178/178 viewing angle.
Save up until you can get a good one.

I have that very monitor, and FWIW, I'm very satisfied with it. The glossy finish is a little distracting at first, but you get used to it. Other than that, it's awesome.

EDIT: Actually, I have the 23" version of the same monitor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824260109). My bad -- still, I don't think you can go wrong with a Dell IPS. The only thing to keep in mind with these particular models is that retailers are circumspect about the panel technology for some reason that isn't clear to me.
