120hz vs 60hz

I'm indifferent about what to get, The 120hz are considerably more expensive that say the Asus VS239HR 23" LED IPS Monitor with HDMI/DVI/VGA by about £100-200 and.

What should I do? Save up £250 for a 120hz monitor or get the asus ips with 5ms full hd. I have a gigabyte 670 4gb.

Maximum FPS you can get on a 120Hz monitor is 120.

Yes I know that but can the human eye even detect a difference in refresh rate? Also people says that IPS 60hz is better anyways.

Honestly, going above 60FPS is pointless in my opinion. You won't notice a great improvement between 60FPS and 80FPS.

Personally, I would. Just wait awhile, see if anyone else replies, they may know something you & I don't about those monitors.

Just go for 60 hertz unless using for simulators then use 120 hertz 6 0 is more than enough for anything else
