Hi All

I'm new to all this tech stuff so I was hoping for some opinions out there.

One of my Geforce 9800 GT cards have died and instead of replacing it I would like to upgrade it with something more modern from todays market.

I don't really have a set budget but I would like to keep it around 7 or 8 hundred dollar mark as I plan to replace the CPU in a year or so......

My current gear is a Dell xps 660i running a Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Quad cpu q9450 @2.66GHz
RAM is set at 4.00GB WITH A 32-bit Operating System.
Power Supply is a 750w. (Dell)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking to upgrade your graphics card or your whole setup for 700-800?

You can easily get a GeForce 770 to replace that 9800GT for about $400. For comparison sake, the GeForce 680 was the flagship card for the 6 series, and the 770 beats it out by a pretty good margin, on top of being more energy efficient (meaning your 750w power supply is more than enough).

Assuming you mean that 700-800 is your budget for a graphics card, you could easily get two 770s in your price range and be set, or you could buy one 780 for about ~$650.
