Windows 7 copying problem.

I backed up my data (15Gb) when I had my old pc with xp into external drive Sony USB 80gigs.
Now, I changed my CPU currently installed windows 7 ultimate 64bit. Whenever, I try to move it back it stucks on calculating.
Help me out.
System specs
AMD phenom x3 8600B
4Gb ram 667mhz
Western digital 160Gb hdd

Do you mean that when you try to transfer the data from the flash drive back over to Windows, the copy window is just showing you that it's calculating how much data needs to be moved? How long has it been stuck on there for?

Approx 5-10mins I wait and close it then.
Data is 15gb but explorer stucks on 12gb. Sometimes, it starts copying files but 106kb transfer speed.
Who got enough time to do this.

What kind of USB ports are you using, 2.0 or 3.0? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of data are you transferring? documents, pictures, DLL files, system files, etc and to what location? I found a Microsoft fixit tool that you may want to try:

Yeah, It contains DLL files,documents and images too.
